Yellow eye mullet are prolific around the southern half of the state and a key baitfish in all waterways.

An inshore baitfish, they are deadly in the estuary for bait. The Real Baitz Yellow Eye Mullet is a perfect replica and weighted just right so it sinks horizontally with a downward swimming angle on the drop. A thick paddle tail gives it an incrediblle action. TECH TIPS
WILL CATCH

barra, bass, cod, mulloway, and flathead.
WHEN TO TIE ONE ON
The Realbaitz mullet is the perfect estuary and offshore lure. It has been designed to perfectly imitate the real thing. It can be fished at all depths using a lift and drop technique or can be slowly wound back to the boat. The large paddle tail wobbles from side to side with the slightest movement. It can be used over flats areas, along rock walls, bridge pylons and wharves and jetties. It is the prefect mulloway candy
HOW TO USE
• In the smaller sizes you can use 10-20lb outfits. The larger sizes will need 20-40lb tackle for the 180mm model and we recommend a dedicated swimbait rod for the 250mm model due primarily to its weight. Braided lines with a flouro leader will be best.
• Use a loop knot for the best action. It allows the lure to swim freely.
• Target rock wall edges, flats with weed beds and deeper water. Use a very slow wind retrieve for amazing results.
• This lure in all weights casts well and will give you a long cast and cover lots of ground.
THINK OUTSIDE THE SQUARE
• Use this lure offshore by allowing it to sink. Snapper love a slow sinking presentation and will definitely hit this lure.
• Vary your retrieve slightly by adding in a downward pull of the rod tip causing the lure to accelerate, then decelerate.
